Getting Saved

Marketing The GospelOne of the biggest questions I get when I am out witnessing is our fourth question in this study, which is what must I do to be saved? (Acts 16:31) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. I have discussed with many over the years about the human process of emotions from going from being unsaved to saved. And, I found we generally go through 5 steps. Can I share them with you? Here they are. Step 1: Know that God loves you and wants to give you a new life. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, (John 3:16). Jesus said, “I come that they might have life (John 10:10). But it is not enough just to know that God loves you. It is important also for you to follow Step 2: See that your sin be removed from your life. God desire to give you a new and better life. Know that we all have sinned, but we don’t have to remain in sin (Romans 3:10, 23). Sin entered into the world and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Step 3: Realize that Jesus Christ died for you, and rose again so that He might give you eternal life. (Romans 5:8). He was buried, and he rose again (I Corinthians 15:3-6). Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). However, knowing that Jesus died for you is not enough. You must … Step 4: Confess your sins to God and turn away from them to serve God faithfully. Repent ye therefore, and be converted (Acts 3:19). Step 5: Receive Jesus Christ by faith, accepting Him alone as your Lord and Savior. As many received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). God bless and I pray that the Lord may speak to you through this study of his word. Each and every reader is in my prayers. Any comments or questions are appreciated. Your blogger DC, God bless.
